Glebe Park

I am a football player. I always take part in different games. Games are very important for a healthy life. Players learn how to deal with frustration and anxiety through gaming. Last Friday, we all football players made a plan to visit Glebe Park. Brechin City's home ground is Glebe Park, a football stadium in Brechin, Scotland. We got up early in the morning, took breakfast and moved towards London City Airport. We booked a cab online from a website. When we arrived at the airport the company cab driver was already present at the airport. He warmly welcomed us, took our luggage and place it in the trunk of the cab. At 8:00 am, we start our journey towards Glebe Park. On the way, the cab driver played nice music in the cab. We enjoyed the music a lot. After a long journey, we arrived at Glebe Park.

When we arrived at the stadium, the stadium was full of people. There were a lot of people holding sign boards in their hands-on where the player’s name was written. The match started and it was quite interesting. Both teams were doing everything they could to win the game. After all, it was the match, it has to win by one team. Before the tea break, both teams were at equal points.

Glebe Park was established in 1919. On the grounds, we saw that there was only one portable stand, which had previously been used at the Perth agricultural show. After building a pavilion and covering the Cemetery End terrace, Brechin City joined the Scottish Football League in 1929. On 3 February 1973, the largest ever attendance was 8,123 for a Scottish Cup match against Aberdeen. This attendance exceeded Brechin's population. In 1977, floodlights were installed and used for the first time in a match against Hibernian.

In 1981, the old stand was replaced by a new Main Stand with 290 seats. The Stewart Milne group's sponsorship and a Football Trust grant of £210,000 funded the construction of a 1,228-seat stand at the Trinity Road end of the stadium. This stand had twice the capacity of Brechin City's average attendance, which drew criticism from English non-league clubs who believed that the Football Trust should fund their development instead. Glebe Park has also hosted reserve team games for Aberdeen of the Scottish Premier League.

After the tea break, both the teams tried their best but the Scotland National team was strong as compared to Brechin City. The match was won by the Scotland National team, and it was lost by the Brechin City team. We were a bit worried because we were in the favour of city team. Late night, we made a plan to go back to our houses. We called the company cab driver and told him to reach the exit point of the stadium. When we arrived at the specific point, the driver was waiting for us. He took our luggage, place it in the cab and moved towards the London City Airport. Throughout the way, we remained very comfortable. After a long journey, we reached the next morning London City Airport. We paid company cab driver hiring charges and moved towards our houses. It was a really nice trip of our life.
